The DIY Era

A couple months ago, Design Observer posted an article about Designing Our Own Graves. It talked about this era that we’re in labeled the do-it-yourself era. All the time, you see shows on how to fix your own car, remodel a house, or some other design project. Perfecting Your Craft

Well, there’s no such thing as a perfect design, or designer, but that does not mean you can’t travel on that road. Being apart of the design industry, there is constant pressure in coming up with new creative and innovative ideas. It’s apart of the job description. It is very important to keep up with the times, and always be working on improving your craft. Internet Explorer 7 is Finally Here

Finally, we see the official release of IE7 hit the internet. Now, my first thoughts are that this is good, but the more I think about it and read other people’s opinions, the more it makes me wonder how good this really is. Now of course we are glad that Microsoft finally gets the idea that they need a more safe, standards driven engine under the hood. But will they keep at it? Keep reading →
