Would You Leave Firefox?

Firefox has been the browser of choice for millions of people, especially with designers and developers, mainly because of the CSS support that it has. It’s no secret that IE6 can be an absolute headache to develop for. But it seems as though Microsoft might actually be doing something right with the release of IE7 being right around the corner.

My First Apple Product

I’ve been a PC guy basically all of my life, and have had no major problems using them granted I did the regular maintenance and such to keep it running as good as possible. But within the past year or so, I’ve been opening my eyes up a little bit and paying a bit more attention to Apple products. It’s not that I’ve ever disliked using a Mac, but I just never had one, therefore I didn’t care too much.

Exploring Coudal.com

Coudal is one of my favorite sites to go to on the daily just to poke around, and I always feel like I learn something new about them when I go to the site. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the site, give it a try, but be patient, because who they are isn’t so obvious at first glance.

Accepting Failure

Every day we see failure. It surrounds us. You see businesses come and go because of some things they did not do right. You see design fail because the designer(s) did something wrong to not accomplish the goal of the overall project in regards to it’s users, and so forth. But what happens when you do all of the work that you think is possibly necessary for a project, all of the research, design, and testing, but yet the project still fails?

Graduating From 800

For awhile now, and with various projects, I’ve been debating when would be the best time to try out a design that exceeds the standard 800×600. There has been much talk about it, and you already see it happeneing. Now of course you have to take into context the actual project goal and content, because maybe it won’t be worth it for a small brochure site.
